When you meet Sherry you truly have met a genuine southern Horry
County native who grew up in North Myrtle Beach, SC, and of course still resides there today.
Sherry has lived, worked and played on the IntraCoastal Waterway and is very familiar with waterfront properties.
Having grown up around the construction business it was only natural for her to become involved with the real estate industry. Her maternal grandfather was a contractor who built many of the homes on Sunset Beach, North Carolina and her mother is a local building contractor as well.
Sherry graduated from Coastal Academy and went straight to work in the family business at Vereen’s Marina in 1979. She operated the ships store, rented boats slips and met many interesting people along the way.
In 1990 Sherry went back to school to become a paralegal and worked in that field for any years in North Myrtle Beach; and loved that career very much as well.
In 1998 Sherry’s life changed when she became a mother; and decided a full time real estate career would offer her a better opportunity to serve the community while also keeping her young son close.
